Fascionycta luteipennis (Warren, 1913). India: Meghalaya (Khasi Hills: TL).
Fascionycta malesiae (Holloway, 1989). NE Himalaya.
Only F. fasciata occurs in S. India.
RS: Agree with ID. Interesting record! Many Acronictinae members occur in India but they're difficult to tell apart :(
