SS: Provisionally identified as Amyna punctum (Fabricius, 1794)
Reviewed this observation again. The series of white spots on FW margin, the prominent white fiscal spot, the wing shape lead me to believe this should be Amyna punctum rather than Amyna axis.
OD in French.
MON Part 5, pl 43/28.
Seitz, 1913. Vol. 11, pg. 272.
Roger Kendrick PhD Plate 41/12 showing forewing shape more acute than axis.

Amyna axis, Amyna punctum, Amyna natalis and Amyna leucoptera could occur in S. India.
GI: The features to differenciate A punctum and A axis is rather narrow except for the white fiscal spot. It may be more likely A punctum than A axis.
Amyna cf punctum
