Gunda javanica palawana Schultze, 1925, Philipp. J. Sci. 28: 569. “Palawan, Ulugan Bay, on Ship’s light” Holotype: ?.

Note Holloway's comment "There are two related species: thwaitesii Moore ( + apicalis Hampson, syn. n.), from Sri Lanka, with a pentagonal male eighth tergite; an undescribed species from S. India with an H-shaped eighth tergite." Given this, I believe that your javanica-like individual from Andhra Pradesh is either thwaitesii Moore or the undescribed species from S. India. Difference described in genitalia...
