There are two species from India listed in http://www.nic.funet.fi/index/Tree_of_life/insecta/lepidoptera/ditrysia/noctuoidea/erebidae/erebinae/acantholipes/ but neither of them match with this one, although A circumdata is close- https://www.africanmoths.com/pages/EREBIDAE/EREBINAE/acantholipes%20circumdata.htm.
However the habitus resembles closely A trimeni which is reported from Africa not India- https://www.africanmoths.com/pages/EREBIDAE/EREBINAE/acantholipes%20trimeni.htm
Hampson Vol 2- lists several species of this genus -Pgs 520-525; Of these No. 2569 A. fuscicosta is the closest.
Hampson Illus Het...vol 8 Pl 148 fig 15 15.Helia fuscicosta ( which as per funet is Narrda fuscicosta)
