Notes: was originally thought to be E.pardus, but it is better identified as E. mediocris on the basis of type locality, which for E.mediocris is southern India, compared to E. pardus which is Africa. Although both species are extremely similar to be identified to species level on the basis of external morphology, a note by Butler mentions how the different Entomogramma species have been differentiated on the basis of their antennae structures.
