1) OD : Alamis glaucinans, Hist. nat. Ins., Spec. gén. Lépid. 7 (Noct. 3): 6 ;
2) FBI, Moths of India, Vol 2, pg 475 #2444 as Homoptera glaucinans ;
3) Illustration of typical specimens of Lepidoptera Heterocera in the Collection of the British Museum Part IX, Hampson pg 109 & Pl 165 figs 1,7 & 15 as Dugaria glaucinans ;
4) http://v3.boldsystems.org/index.php/Taxbrowser_Taxonpage?taxid=267193 ;
5) Moths of Nepal pt 3 Pl 87/21 ;
Refer Hampson, & other references - some forms may have medial area black, white or fuscous, other have the post-medial indistinct, or some may have a medial Y-shaped white band. Many of these forms have been earlier described as separate species; the ODs are available on Funet under glaucinans.
However, glaucinans can be distinguished as below – FW basal lines sinuous, numerous, & inwardly oblique; FW post-medial incurved beyond cell & then oblique towards inner margin; HW with numerous fine straight lines, & HW post-medial straight, oblique & arising from near apex.
This image is a good match for the form depicted on the MON plate.
Other Indian Pericyma spp. not on the MOI website – detersa & albidens are quite different
