Taxonomic Information

Mimochroa Warren, 1894 species known from India and Nepal. 
Mimochroa angulifascia (Moore, 1888). Nepal, India: Arunachal Pradesh.
Mimochroa albifrons (Moore, 1888).India: West Bengal (Darjeeling: TL), Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh. 
Mimochroa gynopteridia (Butler, 1880). NE Himalayas; Nepal. 
Mimochroa hypoxantha (Kollar, 1844). Western Himalaya. 
Mimochroa lugens Butler, 1880. Eastern Himalaya; Nepal.
Mimochroa viridescens Warren, 1894. India: Khasi Hills, Meghalaya; Nepal.

Mimochroa hypoxantha (Kollar, [1844]) group consists of viridescens, lugens and hypoxantha; all of which occur in seasonal colour forms. Further studies are needed to resolve the status of these species (Stüning, 2000).
