Taxonomic Information

Neoaloa Singh & Kirti, 2015, Paramsacta Hulstaert, 1923 and Aloa Walker, 1855 are similar genera that are best separated by examining the hindwing and/or genitalia. Members of the genus Neoaloa Singh & Kirti, 2015 have a yellow marginal band/line on the hindwing, which members of Aloa Walker, 1855 and Paramsacta Hulstaert, 1923 lack (Singh et al. 2018).
