Mustilia falcipennis has FW costal area yellow. Mustillia phaeopera has HW costal area same colour as rest of wing. Also, the HW is more angled. 

Separating Mustilia falcipennis Walker, 1865 and Mustilia castanea Moore, 1879 (Wang et al. 2015).
Forewing apex shortly falcate; fore-and hindwing tornus rounded. Wings darker; HW with a spot near tornus: M. castanea.
