The Saturnia grotei Moore, 1859 group consists of numerous species in the Himalayan range. Species in the Indian subcontinent are: 

Saturnia lindia Moore, 1865. J&K, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand (?). 
Saturnia grotei Moore, 1859. West Bengal and Sikkim.
Saturnia paragrotei Naumann & Nässig, 2010. Nepal and Uttarakhand (?).
Saturnia rosalata Naumann & Nässig, 2010. Nepal.
Saturnia bonita (Jordan, 1911). Nepal, Sikkm, W. Bhutan.

The Uttarakhand populations of this species group are likely to be S. lindia, but could also be S. paragrotei. The Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal populations are likely to be Saturnia lindia Moore, 1865, while Sikkim populations can be Saturnia bonita (Jordan, 1911) or Saturnia grotei Moore, 1859.
