Notes: Mudaria variabilis and Mudaria grisescens are similar species from external morphology. They can be separated by the shape of the frons and genitalia.Das et al. 2020 lists Mudaria major and Mudaria leprosticta from the Western Ghats. Mudaria cornifrons was described from N. India, and there are no published records of this species from the Western Ghats; hence provisionally identified as cornifrons
