Separating Gabala argentata and Gabala polyspilalis based on Roger Kendrick comments on iNaturalist.
My notes: Gabala polyspilalis has a large quadrate spot as part of the medial band and the sub-costal white spots are larger; in Gabala argentata, this spot is usually triangular with a white trailing edge or tail which loops around the cell spot; the sub-costal white spots are usually smaller. The FW cilia in Gabala polyspilalis has has a brown spot, mid termen, and the wing is slight indented at the same spot. In argentata, the termen is smoothly rounded and this brown spot is absent on the cilia.
