Daphnis minima Butler 1876 is very similar to Daphnis placida placida but smaller. Forewing upperside very similar to Daphnis placida placida but median olive-green band less oblique, wider posteriorly and narrower before middle.  (http://sphingidae.myspecies.info/taxonomy/term/828) [accessed 26 September 2020].
