Scopula spp.

There are 78 Scopula species known from India (Kirti et al. 2019). Scopula is a cryptic genus with many species lacking a distinctive fascia on the wings.Hence, genitalia and/or barcoding are needed to separate species with certainty. This page shows a gallery of Scopula spp. if these individuals are identified to the species level in the future, they will be moved to species pages. We would welcome feedback from experts who are able to provide an insight into species identities. Comments and feedback on the page or specific images can be provided by using the link at the bottom of the page and by quoting the specific media code provided in the image.
