Protouliocnemis castalaria Oberthür, 1916 has been reported from Nepal, Himachal Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh. 
Protouliocnemis castalaria is similar in fascia to biplagiata, and can be separated by the presence of fours spurs on the hind tibia of biplagiata and two spurs in castalaria (MOB).
