Both Moths of Borneo and the Chinese Comibaena paper do not list India in their distributions for C. attenuata. Similar species in the group are C. quadrinotata, C. fuscidorsata, C. cassidara and C. biplaga. None of these has a large a tornal patch on FW. Also, the Chinese paper states that the tornal patch may or may not be connected with spot beyond.
