Similiar species:
P. lucifuga and P. crinoides. P. plagifera: inner border of medial loop smooth without projections or spots. P. crinodes: lighter than other con-geners, medial loop smooth, males lack dark brown zone. Presence of an external line and silver-blue dusting.
